  • I have.. it was awesome. its something you have to do once in your life. food is great.
  • Never been on any cruise. I would try one, afraid I would gain too much weight from the good food.
  • Yes. I've been on several cruises in my life and at least 2 with RC. On one I gained 15lbs in 14 days...that taught me to use the onboard gym :P If you are planning to go on one, research the ship thoroughly. THere's different classes, different features, etc. and some may not appeal to you. Also, if you are going to book one, join the crown & anchor club (free on their site). It gives you free things onboard like casino credits, ice cream coupons, robes, travel kits, etc. as you accumulate more cruises.
  • yes ive been on 2 with them and we plan on going next year again........try it you will love it....besure to check out different sites to learn everything you need to know
  • yes and wouldn't recommend it. it's a floating disney world
  • I went on one for my b-day and we had a blast. I might try another line next time, just for the sake of trying them, but I'd take another RC cruise, the staff were so nice, nicest people I've ever met.
  • We are going on the Legend of the Seas (all RC ships are named XXX of the Seas) this summer around Greece, Cyrprus, Turkey, Egypt, Italy and Rhodes. I have been on one RC cruise before and two P&O cruises before. The RC ships offer a bit more in the way of sporting entertainment (e.g. rockclimbing, surfing etc depending on the ships) the lunchtime buffets seem a bit more varied and obviously the ships are often amongst the largest. Plus, because it is an American company, the onboard currency is dollars, meaning that because the pound is very strong against the dollar, it's almost like a discount for UK passengers. However, the P&O ships have far better shows, the evening meals are much nicer and there seems to be more organised eents on the days at sea than on RC. But really, since cruising is all about luxurious holidays, both lines offer experiences far above a typical week in Spain and the little differences are what endears each person to their favourite line. Only those really spoilt people (whom you do sometimes see on cruises) really have anything to complain about. I would do another RC cruise after this one, but I tend to prefer the P&O ones that little bit more, since I love the shows.
  • Yes. I've been with several diff lines. If you love seeing many sites for short times this is for you. Minor differences between all the large ships. Question of personal taste more than anything else. All have lots of services, midnight buffets, live shows, etc.
  • I have been on 4 RCCL's (Legend twice, Empress and Explorer) and have really come to appreciate them as a great value and great ships.
  • We went on Legend of the Seas to Hawaii (11 nights) a few years ago, and are planning to do a Trans-Atlantic on Jewel of the Seas next spring. Cruises are a great experience, and Royal Caribbean always has lots of activities, including physical fitness classes through their "Ship Shape" program -- though I think now they're going to a new all-around Wellness "Vitality" program.
  • I haven't but I think it would be cool to go on a cruise! My boyfriend and I and another couple have talked about making plans to go on one!
  • I have been on three Royal Caribbean cruises previously. A transatlantic on the Brilliance, a European on the Voyager and an Alaskan on the Radiance class. They are excellent ships that are efficiently designed.
  • I would love to go on a cruise!!!
  • I just completed my 5th and became a "Platinum" member of the "Crown and Anchor Society" - which is Royal Carib's frequent floater club... I love RCCL - I've been on the Disney Cruiseline as well, and very much prefer RCCL. I have family who have been on Princess, and their anecdotes lead me to believe RCCL is better (for me). One thing I like about RCCL is their dining process... they follow the more traditional "two seatings, reserved table" model. I like knowing when and where I will have my dinner, and that my waiter (the same for the journey) will be there to manage my every need... The notion of "open seating" found on Princess doesn't appeal to me... If I want that, I can go to the buffet on RCCL. I will definitely be going RCCL again and again.
  • I did, it was great and I'd love to go on another one. I was only on a 4 day cruise, I'd like to go on a longer one.
  • I have sailed with Royal Caribbean 3 times and with Princess Cruises once. The food on Royal Caribean was better...the waiters more entertaining. Princess had larger cabins...with much more room to store things. We love cruising and enjoyed every cruise.
  • No, I've only been on one cruise to the Mexican Riviera and I didn't like being confined to the ship for 3 days at sea. Wouldn't take another cruise unless it was ultra ritzy and someone else paid.
  • i went on one out of bayonne nj with my daughter . we had a great time . not much to do after 11 if you don't drink or gamble . i had a little trouble with some drunks coming into some of the shows. the boat was nice and great time , but i think they like to keep the drunks happy
