Probably a dog as I know my wife says she'll adopt one as soon as I am called home by God. The only funny thing about it is that she would probably take me to the cemetary and I'll find myself peeing on the grave that my previous body is in.

Maybe a parrot in some tropical forest (if some such place exists). I choose a parrot because they live a long life, in terms of being a bird.

A cat. They are small, and smart, they can't be caught as easily as dogs, they are usually very quiet, they can squeeze through tight spaces, and can climb well and jump from high places.
Plus the nine lives thing.

I'd also gave to say a house cat. No ones's going to eat you. You get fed, pet and left to spend your 80% sleeping, and you still get nine lives! I would just hope I didn't end up in a house with a dog.

A house cat...I could get up in the morning, eat, sleep in the sun until late afternoon, eat, then sleep on the lounge until bedtime...all this with minimal interaction with the humans who call me cute...that's a life.

A dragon for a lot of reasons, but if you mean an animal alive today, then Falcon. Strong, smart, keen senses, beautiful, can go anywhere, survive almost any climate, and fly REAALLY fast. Awesome!

- They do.It's poor website design.They haven't used the concept of AJAX well which would update a portion of page.When you add a comment to see what is being commented on your answer, the entire page refreshes and the page 1,000 answers, our answer might get lost in cyber space, though the Permalink is always handy.Hope they remove these glitches.
