You could take a big book of puzzles or read a book or play games on the computer or phone or call someone or something like that. I know what you mean though! it's a real drag!

I look around the shops and eat sweets. Then I go and watch the planes on the runway (I don't go on the runway, I just watch from behind the glass walls!)

I listen to music, walk round (because i know i'll be sitting for the next whatever on the plane). And i also make some phone calls beforei have to turn it off.

Are you kidding? PEOPLE WATCHING is my favorite sport! Watching the different people with their interactions with other family members or the way they speak to others on the phone...watching different cultures acting in different ways. If I had the time, I'd just go to the airport so I could sit and watch people! Consider yourself lucky!

I read a book, drink coffee, listen to Ipod. If there is a restaraunt in the airport, I might go for a light meal. If they have televisions, I'll watch. Usually have 'Airport News'.

Play games on my cell phone(I get free downloads, so I've got plenty of games),or buy a Maxim and read it.
