IIRC it is $7.25 an hour, could be he was just rounding it off to the nearest figure.

Oucch that low?.. It's a dangerous job especially in a country which is facing economic crisis.

I think it's $7.50 or even $7.25. Yest people think that's too much. How can a person live on that?

The guy at subway said he makes minimum but I can't remember if he said it was 7.15 or 7.25 +5

That may have been his way of saying his wages is none of your business. Whenever someone asks me what I make, will say $2.50/hour or $3,599 a year or some other ridiculously low number. What someone makes, if they're not on a public payroll, is none of anybody's business. Minimum wage isn't supposed to be a living wage, anyway.
