Have we come to expect bad news so much that we are suspicious of good news?

HA! I was just thinking about that on my way home tonight. I've had so many years of bad crazy stuff happening especially the last 11 years. Right now everything seems peaceful enough but I'm wondering when and how the next bunch of crapola is going to hit. It always happens when I least expect it. Now I'm on point, and expect it for sure.

nearly all the major media thrive off bad news 90% bad and a token 10% good its the format dark n twisted and controlled that way.I refuse to watch and be bullied by these control freaks.

Yes, because most of the time that is all we ever get is bad news. So when we receive good news, it seems odd.
