did you save it the first time, when you typed it?
if so what did you name the file?
go to start > search > all files and folders > type the name of the file or simply *.doc and search.
if a file with the name exists this should find it.
Check your recycle bin for it if it's there restore it. If not then go through your documents to find it. Once you found it try to open it. If it won't open your sh!t out of luck. If it was a shorcut you used on your desktop if you moved the file in your documents then you would get file not found. So once you found it you can create another shortcut for it and delete the old.
If you didn't save it you'll have to type it again. If you did save it you'll have to search for it.
Did you use a square knot or half-hitch?

I just recently got a Macbook Pro and it only has Text Edit? I tried Open Office but it sucks. Can I get Microsoft Word for Mac?

You're reading I tyed something up on Microsoft Word and when I went to open it again, it said, "file not found." What do I do?
