Christians, if God made Hell open-source, would you tweak the files and set "soul lives forever" to false, and "flames consume and cause death" to true? Or would you ramp up the pain multipliers and be even more cruel than the original developer?

No. I would set "soul lives forver" to True. I'd also set "mind lives forever" and "body lives forever" to True. Then I would set "flames consume and cause death" and "humans feel pain" both to False. And while I was at it, I would set "ambient daytime temperature" to 72F, "ambient nighttime temperature" to 62F. Then I'd set "democracy" to True so that Satan, and Stalin, and Hitler, and Pol-Pot, Genghis Kahn, and Kim Il Sung, and Osama Bin Laden, and Fidel Castro, etc. would be just ordinary blokes with no more power than anyone else. Oh, I'd also set "visitation allowed" so that saved friends and family members in Heaven could come down to Hell for the day to visit non-saved friends and family members.
