Do you do couponing? if so how much effort do you give it (do you get the coupon sections out of newspaper recycling bins)? what stores do you use? how much do you save?

I don't usually use coupons because I buy 99% of my stuff generic and coupons are usually for the higher priced name brands. I do use the occasional coupon I get at the store but I am not going to go through the trash or recycle bin to get them.

I have never been successful at couponing, I am good at sale shopping, but trying to use coupons I often spend more than I otherwise would. my sister feeds a family of 7 on about $100/month couponing. I have heard of people leaving stores with in store credit due to couponing.

I use coupons whenever I can. I use probably around $20-$25 worth in a month. . We have ONLY ONE STORE now days here and it is Albertson's. Sucks because they have raised their prices knowing that we have no other choice but to pay that price! . We can go out of town and many people do. But if you are in need of Milk, Butter, Bread........then the only place to get that stuff it at Albertsons. Don't make sense to drive for 2 hrs to get these few items cheaper. lol They've got us by the balls and they know it! +5 TAPriceCTR

My wife does and she is very skilled at it. She does it to have extras in her life like getting her hair done and nails done as I give her $80 dollars a month to feed us. In her underwear drawer a couple of months ago, I found she had $1000 dollars in a envolope and as I just went in there she now has $1300 in it. She's very good at shopping or she is successful at running a scam. I'm not going to ask.
