It isn't. Numbers are not evil. That's ridiculous. Your understanding of a concept stated in the bible is incomplete, to say the least. The text states "Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.– Rev. 13:17-18 Scholars generally agree that this is a reference to Nero, one of the Roman emperors who persecuted the early Christians. It has also been theorized that The Beast is actually the Catholic Church, but I don't have space here to get into all the reasoning. Honestly, at least READ the book of revelation before you jump on the bandwagon with all the others who believe everything they hear. Think for yourself for Pete's sake. All the hype and people trying to look like they're bad by tattooing 666 on themselves makes me laugh in contempt.

It's not. According to numerology, 3 is the number of God, and 6 is the number of man. The number 666 represents man trying to make himself God. Is that evil? Or just misguided?
