If you have a device attached to your USB it should generally show as a drive. Go into "My Computer" and it should generally display the device after your PC's hard drive, CD/DVD ROM etc. Depending on your autoplay setup, simply inserting the device may bring up a small menu asking what you want to do with this - this may take a few seconds to initiate however.
