If audio gal's suggestion doesn't work then your solution will depend on whether it's a combination stove/oven or if it's an in-wall oven. If it's a stove then the locking mechanism probably is accessed by removing the stove top-don't ask me how to do that I'd have to actually see THAT oven. If it's in wall it will likely need to be pulled out from the wall to access the lock. Anyway, make sure to cut the power especially if the lock is motorized. Don't know how a lever lock would be stuck it likely just has a switch in it that prevents the self clean from starting with the door unlocked. Once you can see the locking mechanism you should be able to release it by hand or by unscrewing pieces. If you don't care about the self clean function you could simply remove the locking mechanism entirely, assuming you don't need it for any other reason (kids in the house) but with some more automated units the machine will be unhappy if motor isn't hooked up. If you remove any electrical components along with the lock make sure to tape over the wires to prevent a short!

You may be able to find out why the lock jammed in the first place. If anything is rusty sand it or use steel wool. Don't use oil here it may be a fire hazard-besides assuming the lock is at the top, if any oil drips out later on it might end up right on the item you were cooking! Ewww! The locking mechanism itself may be available as a complete assembly, or as individual parts of it. However, this might be a challenge with really old oven. With a cheap appliance the hardest part may be simply taking the thing apart without using a gun! Are you sure you really need the lock? Once you get it open you shouldn't lose any functionality unless the door itself is now in pieces.

If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, you can try....
    1) Unplugging the range or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the range back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and try moving the door lock lever or opening the door.

    2) Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever or opening the door.
