  • Its when they CRAWL OUT the other end thats nasty!
  • secrets out I,m Spiderman !
  • doubt it...I've never even seen a spider on my bed and I'm sure if so many were crawling up there that I was eating one a night then I would have at least seen a couple up there while I was awake and I haven't
  • Yes it's true. It always happens in the early hours when we are most likely to sleep with our mouths open. If you set a camcorder up in your bedroom you'll see it happening. The biggest I swallowed was a house spider. Estimated leg width 3inchs. I'm surprised it didn't wake me!
  • Not every night, but it does happen every now and then. They climb into the mouth for water and then we swallow them.
  • i though it was 13 a year that we ate?
  • "Claim: The average person swallows eight spiders per year. Status: False Origins: Oh, yuk! It's hard enough to avoid those horrible wriggly things while we're awake, and now we have to worry that they're crawling into our mouths while we sleep? Little Miss Muffett was a piker. Fear not. This "statistic" was not only made up out of whole cloth, it was invented as an example of the absurd things people will believe simply because they come across them on the Internet." • It is averaged at 8 a year. I never believed it until i saw multiple videos and woke up one night to a spider on my face. At that point i was convinced that this was an urban myth that may actually hold a little ground.
  • It's not a myth.We actually do eat spiders while we sleep but,not every night. How many we eat depends on the area we live in. Some places are much more populated with spiders than others also how clean is the area in which you sleep I live in Brazil and here there are always Spiders from the size of a pinhead to the size of a small plate
  • It sounds pretty far-fetched. +5
