I think Melanie is a cute name♥ Our dogs name was Dixie (Brittany spaniel) and we picked that name from an actress that was on a soap opera "All My Children" that my wife watches. Our cats name was Rock, and picked that name because he would stand on his hind legs and slap Dixie in the face'just playing' and reminded us of the Rocky movies. Thats the reason for my answerbag name!! *DixieRock*
