Why do some people leave it so long to tackle hearing problems?

Are you asking while some people wait so long in life to have their hearing tested? If so, no one wants to wear hearing aids and that includes yours truly. After gunfights and loud sirens on police cars, you have to give into hearing aids or take up sign language.

I guess nobody really wants to admit that they are hard of hearing. It took my grandma a long time to get a hearing aide. +5

First of all it is expensive to have the divice and some people would not like to buy the cheap as it is visible and on the top of the ear and they feel shame that other people will think that the person is getting old.

The cost of a good hearing aid. I have one of those on top of the ear things. Doesn't work, cuts in and out makes a noise,such a hassle Plus once used to the quiet, it's kinda nice in a strange sort of way.
