  • Sure they should ignore. Their health is a lot more important than a stupid legislation. All the women should challenge these idiotic guidelines. 6+ from me. I am a breast cancer survivor, talking here. :)
  • Without a doubt they should ignore it. Usually the younger a person is the more aggressive and fast moving the disease, If it is not caught very early it is usually fatal because of the rapid progression.
  • I'd be skeptical of these "new guidelines", which will probably change back the other way in a few years. I would go ahead and get the mammogram, for your own peace of mind if nothing else.
  • They may want to consider going the other way and start giving mammograms at puberty on.
