No, I've only seen those kinds of mouse traps in the movies.

Well, I've had my fingers caught in a coupla' places where they likely shouldn't have been, but no, never a mousetrap! ;-)

Yes, but it was an experiment to see how much of the trap's full force I could take. The trap was unloaded, so I pried it up and slowly let it press back down on my fingers. Slowly applying the full force wasn't that painful, but it was enough to help me realize just how painful it would be if I actually got snapped by it.

No and I would not use them I think they are very cruel.

No but my wife would catch her dog in the non-kill traps. She would place the bait in the trap and as the trap was just to spring shut would not jury a mouse but trap it in a cavity to be released later. My wife's dog would pick up the freshly baited traps and of course catch his tongue. It didn't seem to bother him as I think he thought they were toys for him.

No, but that's because I keep my distance from things like that. :) I'm known to be quite clumsy...
