Help answer this question below.
Does one 'convert' to UUism? Can you profess UUism without actually going to congregational services? As a teenager can go from any given religion to Atheism/Agnosticism, can he or she go to UUism? Is it that simple?

If you get married in a Unitarian church, it's legal, right? I know that's sort of a weird question, but they do commitment ceremonies and that sort of thing, so I didn't know if the U.S. government acknowledged actual marriages done there or not.

If it is not necessary to believe in God, Christ, or anything in particular in order to be a Unitarian Universalist, how can it call itself a religion or a church?
