Sure. St. Nicolas was a real man and a true giver of gifts and charity. This is why he was made a saint by the catholic church.

my parents were desperate to make me believe in santa. at age 5 they hired a fake santa to try convincing me. they never convinced me and all their efforts merely discredited them. I'll raise my children to enjoy the fictional santa stories. you do not have to believe in the force to enjoy starwars, santa stories are no different.

No, I do not believe in the existence of Santa Claus.

I believe he was a real person, at one time. Yet he is dead now…so I believe we should be rational about the situation and spend Christmas with friends and family.
