  • No rickter. sorry for that man:)
  • Well, I guess you could say that happened. I was at an on-site travel office at Anheuser-Busch (which, after 150 years, sold to a foreign company, InBev last year). They kept laying off people in my office. Then we found out A-B/InBev decided to go to an online booking tool...and my office was shut down. The handful of us that was left did end up staying with the company at other positions at our main office. So, perhaps "out-sourced" to the internet I suppose. More mileage, more expenses on my car, no raise and a cut in hours. Well...at least I have a job. Things are pretty tight for a lot of folks right now. Sending positive employment security vibes your way, Rickster.
  • No. How much notice did they give you? What about severance pay? That must have been a real shock. Happy Saturday to you Rick! :)
  • Nope, never have. Sorry about that, dude. Just remember "Crisitunity." You know, the word Homer Simpson made up when he learned from Lisa that the Chinese have the same word for crisis and opportunity. Not sure how that helps, for Hawaiins use the same word for hello and good-bye. Still, best of luck in the pursuit of finding your dream job.
