Do I need a special set up to play my quadraphonic 8-track of John Lennon's Imagine?

    In the days of 8-tracks, there were several standards for encoding quadraphonic music onto the tape. The decoding methods were generally built into the player, so the player would have 4 output channels and you would plug those into your amplifier independently.

    You can play any of those tapes in a stereo-only player... the challenge with anything involving 8-tracks is just to find a player that still works!
