Never. If I wanted coffee or their company that much, I would suggest my house or a local coffee house.
-
I don't drink coffee and if a friend insisted on coming into my house to have coffee. He's in for one heck of a disappointment, we are LDS and due to our beliefs, we don't drink coffee.
-
Hey bettybaby let's go have coffee at your house!
-
Only if their coffee was The Best in the tri-state area. ;)
-
Yes that is rude and no I would not do that.
-
Nope, wont do that. Everyone has his things to do and I know that if Im really bussy with something I dont like it when someone/anyone is just marching in. +

To insist yes, If you said "Would you mind if I stayed to chat for a while, maybe we could do coffee?" Then it gives them an option of saying no. I would not do that. I try to make plans, never know when someone has to go somewhere or do something. Plus my house is a mess most times. If someone asks if they can come in, and I am free and feeling up to visitors I say "Sure come on in, but the house is a mess so don't complain I warned you."
