Mormons: Please explain what empirical survey method(s) you used to compare the LdS Church with all other churches, and what evaluative method(s) of determining what truth means that you used to conclude that the Mormon Church is the only true Church.

if people stop answering your scripted questions will you stop asking them? You of all people know exactly how mormons claim to know the truthfulness of their religion and i'd also imagine that not only does the average mormon not know what an empirical survey method is the average american wouldn't either. the only reason i do is because i have a BA in political science. Socrates would be proud of your use of his method however i find it dishonest.

Careful, a lot of Morg are going to be coming awfully close to logic if you challenge them this way. I can imagine a lot of mental blowouts when they start to consider the full implications.

Empirical methods? Evaluative methods? My friend neither of these methods will bring one to a knowledge of the truth! All truth comes from God and only from God. If one wants to know the truth about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, they do not need to take any one's word, here on earth, they can go directly to the original source for truth. God has promised to give wisdom, freely, to anyone who needs wisdom if they ask in faith. (James 1;5) And as far as I know the Church of Jesus Christ is the only Church, on earth, which invites anyone who wishes to know, to go directly to the Lord for an answer. We already know what that answer will be, because that is the way we have come to conclude that the "Mormon" Church is the only true Church on earth today. We do not say we are the only Church who teaches truth, but we do say we teach all of the truth and nothing but the truth, as a Church. Later

Empirical methods are great for learning what people believe, and totally worthless for determining which, if any of them are correct. . To reach a conclusion about which church belongs to God you have to ask God. Accept no substitutes.
