Profits should not supersede the right to health care. Why should people be penalized for pre-existing conditions? If there was not for profit private health care it would be essentially universal health care. They like the idea of having health care costs to soar out of control for they make more money. It is not that they must make profits, but more they do make profits, and mostly on the backs of people that need health care, and can't afford the artificially inflated premiums that they pay. There is nothing wrong with free enterprise,in fact it is fine, but in a free enterprise market the benefits to the buyer must be included. If you sell something that does not live up to the amount payed for it,then you do not deserve to be in business.People will look elseware for the same product. The problem is that all of this product, health care,is of the same low quality. In other words you do not get what you paid for in premiums. Also there are many million that do not qualify for subsidized Medicare or can afford the high premiums of private health care.So they go without health care entirely. So now there is potentially more sick people which in the end will cause a big economic burden.
