  • Check out Heroditus and Tacitus. Look at the annals of Pontius Pilate and the records from the Sanhedrin all available to us even today. A great number of historians dating back 2000 years have records of Jesus.
  • He's a real person, He is listed in every encyclopedia where you can find historically factual evidence of His life and teachings.
  • try to find YOUR GOD....& u will get ur answer
  • I would say it is hard to prove what he done in his lifetime, more than if he existed in those days..Records kept in those days were not accurate. There was very likely many named Jesus, and if Pilate did crucify Jesus,he was just on of many thousands that were crucified in those days.If he existed,he would have been an individual that was a religious radical and had found another belief other than the ones followed by the Romans. The only account of the miraculous things he was supposed to do are in the bible only, and in no other historical books.
  • There was no person named Jesus Christ. There was, however, a man named Yeshua ben-Yosef born in Bethlehem around 6/7 CE, during the census of Quirinius, and raised near the sea of Galilee in a locality now known as Nazareth.
  • There is some historical evidence to suggest that someone named Jesus annoyed the Romans and was thus executed. Bear in mind, "Jesus" is the Greek equivalent of the name "Joshua". There were a lot of people named "Jesus", and the Romans weren't fans of locals interfering with their business.
  • Jesus Christ was a Superstar during his times. He was bigger than Joel Osteen, Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker combined.
  • What type of evidence would you expect to find? there was a man during that time that made an impact still felt today.
  • The Turin Shroud.
  • You won't find snapshots or youtube videos but you will find writing of various individuals that discuss his life, teachings, and many disciples.
  • Heroditus predates the assumed time of Jesus' life. Tacitus in around 120 CE makes a reference to Christians in Rome and the death of a man, their inspiration, that he refers to as Christus, at the hands of Pontius Pilate. That is the most provocative objective historical reference that I am aware of. Joshephus, a Jewish historian before Tacitus also makes a reference that is arguably not as objective since it is in the context of Jewish mistreatment by Pilate, but still is a reference outside of Biblical "scripture". Chances are good that such a person existed. His relationship to the divine is open for debate.
  • How much evidence can you find that any common man existed in that time? People didn't exactly leave a paper trail back then. Writing materials were expensive and few people knew how to use them. That any man got any mention in that time period is remarkable. Jesus got several mentions, in Josephus and other places, which is noteworthy.
  • Watch 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. I'm pretty sure that it's a documentary.
  • Much of the evidence has faded. But I do find rather compelling the fact that you're ignoring eleven witnesses and the prophecies concerning him.
  • Considering the amazing amount of historical art, architecture, records, artifacts and images, what more could you want? Short of a personal, physical appearance, what could possibly convince you? Trust me, Friend, He definitely existed and still does today.
  • There is PLENTY of evidence that Jesus existed. What is lacking is proof that Jesus truly was the son of God. You have to rely on faith to believe that.
  • Hey Rainman! Have you tried reading the best selling book in history?
  • Read the writings of Flavius Josephus. He was a historian at the time. They are on the internet free. Pick up a copy of "The Case for Christ", or "The Case for the Real Jesus", by Lee Stroebel. Fundamental questions, and he examines each line of evidence.
