I will give you a detailed description of what a real Libertarian is. How you feel after reading this answer is your opinion alone. A Libertarian is someone who believes in the basic rights of all people. The right to your own religion, the right to your own political beliefs, the right to bear arms. If you believe in God, I support you in your belief. If you're an Atheist, I support you in your belief. Basically, we don't care what other peoples' beliefs are. If they're hard working upstanding citizens who do what they can to support their country, we support them.

Sure, if you consider wanting personal freedoms and abolishing victimless crimes (i.e. the war on drugs), and fiscal responsibility, smaller government based on the Constitution being a "greedy hippy". Then yes, I am a greedy hippy and proud of it!

No, they're more of a Republican pretending to be a member of another party. Sort of a fifth column to take votes away from Democrats. Greedy Hippy is a term for Yuppie.
