What do you think of all these commercials advertising cat food with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, etc. Do cats really want or need that stuff?

No, as it's unnatural and harmful for cats to be fed cereals, grains, and veggies. They don't need them and it gives them allergies and bad nutrition. The only thing cats meat and bones as they lack the enzymes to digest any vegetable or grain matter. It's all ads for making money. They sound good to humans since they associate what makes people healthy, but it's not species appropriate. http://www.rawfedcats.org/

I think that is the dirty trick of some company to get more money in cheap way!,that kind of food sources are usually not as good as commercial food with meat product,and usually contain TVP(Texturized Vegetable Protein)to fulfill the protein requirement for cats,which is not naturally suitable for cats! I think cat may want to eat it,if it smells tempting(meaty or fishy),that's why they add artificial substances to this product to make it smells good.
