if by end, you mean of the world then im afraid that it may be, most of the prophesies mentioned in the bible hav already occured, i can only say that we may have a few years though how many i am uncertain, but hey what do i know i'm just a kid....

i don't think so. i think the experiences that are more recent impact us more. i think the person we currently are relies more heavily upon recent lessons we've learned ... or not. i do think most (but not all) of our experiences add up, but i don't think they are weighted equally. and, some of them aren't part of the equation at all. there are some things that affected who i was 5 years ago, but now, they don't matter at all. they have no affect on who i am at this time.

Yes, not only by our own trials in life, but those of others as well. As the old saying goes " Learn from your mistakes."

We are the sum of our experiences cast upon the genetic background which we inherited from our parents. Our genetic makeup sets the range of our possible behavior. Our experiences since the fusion of our gametes fine tune our behavior to match with the environment in which we find ourselves. Please bear in mind that this is a very simplified version.
