it's a self-confidence issue, I mean it can go two ways, they're either inlove with themselves or they don't perticularly like themselves. It's all about the image for some people

Bragging is one of those pet peeves that really gets under my skin. I like people who are self-assured enough in themselves that they don't need to brag - the proof of their labors is enough to show that.

Because they haven't figured out yet how stupid it is to make oneself conspicuous. Better to let them know nothing of yourself. Give the bastards no ammunition to use against you later. +4

Because they try to make themselves feel better and look better to people. It does irritates me to hear them constantly bragging.

Arrogance...I do all I can to ignore them unless they have figured out a way to shit out of my ass.
