I would say no it won't be completely gone in six weeks. You should probably just use a rinse. Permanent and semi-permanent tend to stick around a while.

i went jet black once ,i got the shampoo dye which is suppose to rinse out in 7 weeks or less , nope it did not ,i had to buy two boxes of blond dye to get the rest of the black out , so i say no .which brand were you planing on useing ??? it sometimes depends on the brand too ,but only sometimes.

Have you went to rite aid? They have some stuff I'm not sure what its called that will color your hair & wash out that day. Some semi-permanent dyes will leave residues & funky coloring even after 6 weeks.

Most likely it will not. You are better off choosing a dye that is temporary and washes out in 6-8 shampoos instead of 6 weeks. Worst case scenario, I noticed that hair dye removal kits are now available at most drugstores.

i would recommend a rinse and after words just use a clarifying shampoo and it should pull out the remainder of the color. if all else fails and you cant find a clarifier grab your dawn dish soap and use that a couple of times it works just about the same just be sure to condition your hair very well after words!
