  • I've actually had them before and it is yummy! There are inherent risk in doing so, and you should be aware of them. Kinda like eating a raw egg or rare steak.
  • I don't know about wherever you're from, but around here you can buy cheese made from raw milk. The raw milk itself, though, is not sold in markets. You have to buy it directly from a local dairy (you buy a cow share, around $30/month and get fresh raw milk on delivery). Considering that studies have shown raw milk to be better for health overall than pasteurized milk, I certainly think it should be sold in stores. Also, it is far far tastier than that pasteurized crap. Pasteurization makes milk lose all of its flavor.
  • Only if you sign a waiver that you can't sue if it makes you ill.
  • Why not? Fresh milk from the cow is the best. If I had one, with a place to keep her, I would never drink from the shop again. Maybe I'd even try learning to make cheeses myself.
