  • It would take a tremendous amount of cement "powder" to cause a swimming pool, filled with water, to "set" and harden, and even so, pool water is constantly being filtered and moved, and non-standing water can't "set" into a gigantic cement block, as you might be contemplating doing. If you want to "get even" with your neighbors because they didn't invite you to their "clothing optional" pool parties, I suggest you just toss in some roadkill into the pool (Elks are preferred, or maybe a Moose). That way, they will be forced to drain out all of the water and refill the pool, which will certainly cost them a lot of time and money. But it won't get you an invitation to their NEXT pool party, so why do it at all? +5
  • 4857 is my best guess.
  • look at a bag. Directions are like 4 or 5 parts cement to 1 part water. Start with 3 dump truck loads of dry cement for a SMALL pool. you might have better luck with jello, 1 part jello to 20 parts water, but for an in ground pool you will still need a dump truck load.
  • Considering that even the poorest concrete is made with very little water, you'd have a lot of cement and aggregate to buy.
  • If you do the mix, you have to make sure you don't have the filter on, and also you need to plug all of the filtering system. in addition, you will need to make sure that it is covered to prevent rain on it. best guess, may be a week long project and cost you a pretty penney
  • are you realy thinking about doing that? if so i wana help were do ya live? this is solid gold you have here!
