  • There is a big difference, Madoff's scam can be proven to be a scam. It can be proven that he did not make the investments that he claimed to have made and that he lied to his clients. However, you can't prove that deity does not exist. Therefore, you can't prove religions false.
  • I saw a court case some time ago where a judge determined that it is legal to inflate the value of something and that the customer should do the research to verify that they are getting value for their expenditure.. which too few people bother to do. Believing the religionists is like believing in paying $400.00 per cubic foot for a special kind of air in your tires that will give you a smoother ride. But that is freedom of religion; sorry sir- case dismissed.
  • Not one prophecy, or miracle, or anything from the bible has come true. In fact the majority of the bible is fantasy. Churches should be taken to task for peddling lies as truth, even if not for the ponzi scam element, then for the way they portray fiction as fact. And churches should be taxed, especially now.
