Most places I have worked for gives me access to that and I never ever abuse it.

I don't and neither does my wife. She records sales but she doesn't do the billing. Her job deals with inventory and yet she has customers wanting to have her check on their cost and billing when she explains she hasn't access to their accounts they scream at her.
I don't know how she does it, I would be hitting people if they got in my face like they do hers.
