When people talk good about themselves, do you consider it confidence or pridefulness? Why?

I feel like people who talk good about their self is somewhat good - But I find that their actions should show me instead of them telling me

It depends upon if what they say about themselves is actually true or just what they wish was true about themselves.Confidence is backed up by reality,and pridefulness is more like wishful thinking.

I think it is both. And both are okay by me. Pride and confidence is something I admire. It's great!

I just think they are inconsiderate and egomaniacal. Usually they are just waiting for any opportunity to tell you about themselves so they will be validated.
