They still have them at all of our grocery stores.
they got replaced by less environmentally friendly plastic bags....and then by less environmentally friendly 'environmentally friendly bags'---that actually exude methane when they decompose.
They still have 'em but you have to ask for them specifically now days. They use to say "plastic" or "paper" bag today? And you'd tell 'em but now it is automatically plastic unless you tell 'em different.
Any of you visit your local Farmer's Market weekly? How do prices compare to the local supermarkets?
