Hi - I have the same problem with our 42" TEAC. It's like glitter that comes and goes particularly in the dark areas of the screen. We have tried turning the set off and on again with some success, but it seems to just build up over several hours then discharge. Also thought it might be a static charge buildup on the screen but tried discharging this with my hand, a magnet etc but no different. There is a documented problem with Plasmas called "pre-emission discharge" and some references to it on the net, including one saying a technician changed the voltage with sucess.

contact LG customer service again - they have just released a software update that (so they say) cures the timing issues common with their products. It is a royal pain to install so get it done before warr expires
