  • I usually just leave a blood blister, and they eventually heal by themselves, but it might not do any harm to have someone look at it if it is that painful.
  • If its beneath the nail you can poke a hole in it and drain the blood blister it a relieve the pain and pressure.
  • Stop hitting your finger with a hammer
  • I would say you fractured the bone, most likely. Would say seek some medical attention and/or pop the blister with something small (such as a pin) to relieve some of the pressure and pain.
  • If it's a blood blister, it's probably not broken. Can you bend it? Just leave it in ice water 5 minutes @ a time for the next 12 hrs & keep it slightly elevated so your pulse doesn't make it throb worse. I am a paramedic. Idk what else to tell you
  • Tried perhaps popping in to the local doctor? I hear they have all kinds of crazy new 'cures' for things these days.
