Help answer this question below.
I usually just leave a blood blister, and they eventually heal by themselves, but it might not do any harm to have someone look at it if it is that painful.
Tried perhaps popping in to the local doctor? I hear they have all kinds of crazy new 'cures' for things these days.
If it's a blood blister, it's probably not broken. Can you bend it? Just leave it in ice water 5 minutes @ a time for the next 12 hrs & keep it slightly elevated so your pulse doesn't make it throb worse. I am a paramedic. Idk what else to tell you
Stop hitting your finger with a hammer
If its beneath the nail you can poke a hole in it and drain the blood blister it a relieve the pain and pressure.
I would say you fractured the bone, most likely. Would say seek some medical attention and/or pop the blister with something small (such as a pin) to relieve some of the pressure and pain.

What would cause a sudden sharp pain at the BACK of the knee? I felt a sharp 'twang' a few weeks ago. It hasn't stopped hurting since.

You're reading My finger was hit with a hammer. It hurts so bad that I can't touch anything with it.There is a huge blood blister on it and it looks like the blood blister is swollen(if you know what I mean).I can feel the pulse in it.What should I do?

If your mother says it looks okay then it probably is; although they can be sore they aren't really anything to worry about.
