  • Apparently when I was young I liked Nana mouskouri. Apologies if I have not spelt her name correctly
  • Yes, it was a comedy record. I played it over and over. "Hello muddah, hello faddah" Good times.
  • I don't exactly remember the first one ... but I did wear the grooves off of an album that we found by accident. My parents had bought a console stereo-TV (black & white, of course), at a garage sale. When we hooked it up and started exploring, we found that it had 2 sliding doors on each end, at the top. Under one ... the turntable, and under the other ... the radio. Apparently, if you opened the sliding door over the turntable, while there was a record or album on it, the record or album fell INSIDE the cabinet. While I was hooking up the antennae, I saw several albums thru the holes. Most were pretty bad, but one was a great album ... the Best of the Herman's Hermits. I wore that album out!
