How come God forgot to add "Thou shalt keep thou hands out of the altar boys' pants" to Exodus 20, knowing that He is timeless and thus knew this was going to happen?

Seems to me that question was addressed when god spoke out against homosexuality.

And Jesus mentioned something about a mill stone and the sea for those that harmed children.

It's just a story. God didn't really write anything.

If you read the rest of the bible, you could figure out He did say that (indirectly).

Perhaps he did mention it, and the child-molesting clergy edited it out. Would that really surprise you?

I want to head into the atheist route on this one. But I'll spare ya. If you find a real answer to it, let us know. think you'll be onto one huge truth there that not many people know.

Here's a bit of trivia for you though. Did you know homosexuality is really only a new concept? It's really only been into being since modern times. Haven't done a lot of research on the subject, but from what I've come across really only since the dark ages or right after. Most societies didn't really look down on it or even care. Some, mainly the greeks and romans (from what I know), actually fostered the idea, and a good majority of the male population were at least bi. So why banish something that was common place and not even considered wrong to begin with? In some cases a higher ranking person would actually take in a young adult man (right after puberty and before he could grow a beard), and would teach him, help with schooling and the like in exchange for good old fashioned butt pirating, provided the family was OK with it (which in most cases they were).

Although, I will reiterate the fact that I'm not very knowledgeable on the subject and could be wrong. But this is what I've come across in a couple of texts.

Because it is already covered under "Thou shalt not commit adultery" and it didn't need to be said twice. Those who did it knew they were sinning. They didn't care. They have the consequences to look forward to.

I think it also comes under the heading of "By their fruits shall you know them." They were clearly not bearing good fruit.

You need to understand that pedophiles are very determined and persistent creatures. They will do whatever it takes to get access to a child, including getting a teaching degree, joining the priesthood, getting an early childhood degree and working in childcare, starting their own daycare business, going to work for Chuck E. Cheeses, etc. Pedophiles don't stay away from places where children will be. They don't walk around with "Pedophiles r us" tattooed on their foreheads so that you will recognize them. Their goal is to get access to your children without getting caught. If going to seminary and joining the priesthood will get them that access, that is what they will do.

Outside of marriage, all sexual relations are forbidden. The Bible is quite specific on this matter. In the Law that God gave to the nation of Israel, it was stated: “ You must not commit adultery.” (Exodus 20:14) Later, Jesus included “fornications” and “adulteries” with the “injurious reasonings” that originate in the heart and defile a person. (Mark 7:21, 22) The apostle Paul was inspired to admonish the Christians in Corinth: “Flee from fornication.” (1Corinthians 6:18) And in his letter to the Hebrews, Paul wrote: “Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.”--Hebrews 13:4.

What is meant by the word “fornication”? It comes from the Greek word por·neia, which applies to adultery, incest, and bestiality. All sexual practices between individuals not married to each other constitute por-neia (Ths would most definitely include pedophylia ) All such practices are condemned—in God’s Word.—Leviticus 20:10, 13, 15, 16; Romans 1:24, 26, 27, 32.
