  • No. Nobody.
  • No I don't resent the discounts. Many old people are living on a fixed income coupled with outrageous medical and prescription bills. If they get 10% off the early bird special I'm happy for them. No we don't pay more. Who can you sue? No one I hope. Although these days you can probably get it into court....
  • No its not true that if someone gets a 10% discount, others have to make up the difference. If you go into a store and you purchase an item that is on sale for 25% reduction does that mean the people who come in and purchase an item at the same store which isn't on sale, pay more? Of course not.
  • I think our seniors have paid their dues & deserve every dime they get. I know my parents took care of me & now its time we took care of them. I hope when i get old nobody tries to push me into a hole of barely scraping by.
  • I'm a "senior citizen" but I never use the "senior citizen discount" because I know there are others out there who really NEED a discout on certain things. I don't.
  • Hopefully, one day you will live long enough to be called a senior citizen. Then, you will understand why senior citizens are given discounts. There is no money out of your pocket for the comp. from various businesses. If you want to sue somebody, sue Answerbag for making the system run too slow.
  • Good grief. You greedy bastard! A senior will never eat/consume what you will. They live on fixed incomes and have no way to increase it. They pay so much in medical and pharmacy that you should be supplementing that! They have paid their taxes, their dues, raised their families, kept this country strong and safe, and supported their own elders when it was their time to do so. IF 10% were coming out of your pocket, it would be only fair, but this small gratuity is not taken advantage of as often as it should be. Seniors do not tend to get out and about as often as they did as younger people. And it isn't offered where it might do a lot of good, like a hospital, or the grocery store. I pity your parents.
