People who are playing Santa are demanding swine flu shot even if they aren't in high risk category (in case an infected kid sits in their lap). What are your thoughts on this?

I am against the notion that lying to children is ok some of the time when we clearly tell them 'do not lie' all the time. But if somebody likes to lie to children by pretending to be the guy who does not exist, I think they should be allowed to protect themselves as best as they could from Karma or in this case swine flu.

I support the Santa guys. They can't wash their hands every time they touch a kid, etc. They can't be guaranteed that the parent of an infected kid won't put that kid on Santa's lap, etc. So the least their employer should do for them is try to protect them.

I think they are justified in their request. Why should they have to put themselves in harms way which they will do with all the kids they see every day.
