I once tightened bolt onto a cyclone (big tank to collect sandblasting dust) without first tacking the opposing nuts down. Had to gerry rig an extension w/ a box wrench thru the only hole I had access to and retract the bolts clumsily or else the entire thing would be ruined. That sent shivers of joy down my spine.
