Usually there is a opt out period. At the very least you should be able to demand a prorated refund for the 5 days, if they say no, ask for a manager. Be firm and tell them you cannot afford it right now, but perhaps in the future. Whatever you do, don't believe them when they tell you no.
It depends on the writing on the contract. Some contracts can be canceled within a week while others you can't. You may not be able to get your money back but if you really don't want to participate any longer just stop going.
