Liking someone and being friendly towards someone are two terms that are not mutually exclusive.
Perhaps he is already in a relationship so either you just have to be patient or you make the first step and ask him out.

If he's doing this with other people, then it just means he's nice. If he's paying special attention to you, it might mean he likes you. Pay attention to how he is with others. If you think you have a chance, then try asking him.

Sounds like maybe he is interested but maybe he thinks you are taken already. I know if I see a fairly attractive female I generally assume they are already taken til I find out otherwise.

Guys, in general don't make a point to talk to you unless they're interested. The real deal is...what are you doing? Are you making it plain that your interested in him by giving him you full attention when he does stop by? A guy will ask you out if he interested and if he knows your interested. There's no rush is there? Sounds like things are going good.

You're reading If someone at work jokes with you, walks you to your office, smiles at you and stops in a couple times a day to say hi, does that mean they like you or could they just be friendly? I thought he liked me but he just wont ask me out. He's not shy.
