Use a shampoo and conditioner everyday. Sleep with your hair down. Do not straighten, curl, or blow dry to often if at all.
If this doesnt work, contact your doctor about more drastic options

someone said shampoo it everyday..Dont do that it washes all the natural oils out of your hair and will dry it out more.I would shampoo it every 3 days and only a light shampoo but condition everyday and use a leave in conditioner.also dont rub it dry with a towel this will break it more just gently pat it dry with the towel ..No rubbing!!
That good you have not use a perm because it bad to use a perm when your hair is falling out. You should cut your hair into a little air fro pick it morning and night wash it every three weeks and when you wash it greez it but that the only time you greez it.
It will grow and grow fast when it get long enough perm it.
oh yeah. You must use nexxus emergencee. I hear that that stuff will work. People talk about it like it just will. Like its a fact. It works. I'm going to go try it. I left that one out. opps!
My hair used to be healthy last saturday and then I did something stupid. I keept on with the flat iron. I cried myself to sleep last night. I totally understand what you feel right now. It lowers your mood when your crown of glory is more like a crown of nesting sticks. Dumb dumb dumb I know...I keep hearing about this stuff called aphogee. You can get it at a sally's. Now I've never used this product before but It sounds like its worth a try. Don't be alarmed, it will make your hair hard untill you wash it out and it won't have that coated feel so I heard that you have to moisturize moisturize and do it some more according to how dry your hair is or gets. Also I've heard that amala powder or amala oil mixed with herbiscus leaves is good for hair damage. I'm goig straight to sallys after work and I hope it works for both me and you, if you choose to use it yourself.
If you find out anything that works good for you please let me know. my e-mail is amcrunningbull@yahoo.com. I'm on the hunt!
Your hair is breaking off? Like... snapping?
I use a brand of shampoo and conditioner called Samy. They have different kinds for different types of hair. You can buy it at Wal-mart, and I LOVE it!! (It is not produced by Wal-mart, or any of their little sister companies. It's not like SAMS shampoo or anything.) People are always commenting about how shiny my hair is. Hope that is helpful!
You should go to the hairdresser and get a good cut that removes all the dead ends . This stops the hair shaft from breaking further. Stay away from perms for awhile as they are really bad on weakened hair.
I say go to a salon and get the dead split ends cut off,and ask them also for a hair treatment. Or you can buy the stuff and do it yourself. CAT treatment is the best you just spray it on wet/damp hair after shampooing and conditioning and leave it on for 5-15min is my favorite one and it smells good to. Another one I use is Redken's All soft heavy cream it makes your hair soft until you can get to the salon and have the deadness chopped off!
Also Please Remember that a Perm and Relaxer are two Different things.
Perms are used to Curl Hair.
Relaxers are used to Straighten hair which is for African Americans.
If you are going Natural use Natural Products that doesn't contains harmful chemicals.
