I don't think so. I like kids but am not one of those people who fawns all over a newborn or wants to hold it. I have been known to "fake it" on occasion! I think a lot of babies need to grow into their looks. And don't get me started on the old man babies....

No! Especially not newborns. Not even mine. And I'm thier mother! My first daughter didn't have hair until she was 4 1/2 years old. Though she was decidedly female in feature and demeanor, she looked like a chemo patient. +5

HELL NO, I'll be the first to admit- I was the UGLIEST baby that I've ever seen. Which is probably why there are so few baby pictures of me until I reached about two years, I started to SLOWLY look a little better. lol. I don't look so bad anymore. +3

Oh god no - my child was not a 'cute' baby but for that I am extremely grateful - my child is growing into herself, she is displaying beauty on the outside (and inside too) that she only hinted at as a young baby.
I'm enjoying watching her change and mature.

I believe that their innocence is what makes them cute, so to me all babies are cute. I know many will disagree because of their crying and whatever, but that's their only way of letting us know that they need something.

No. I've seen some babies that just look like old men or with a face only a mother could love; strangely that actually makes them cute in my eyes! But no matter what a baby looks like, if it's yours; it's the most beautiful baby you've ever seen! I did have the cutest baby ever; LOL!

The infants of all mammal species seem to be "cute" to the adults of the species. This is probably a positive survival trait, as mammal infants are helpless and require much attention. The "bonding" process is encouraged by this "curteness". +4

I think to a mother they are. All animal species seem to have cute babies with few exceptions. Big eyes etc. Look at the pictures of the baby hippo that has been making the rounds on the internet. The adults may be hideous but the babies seem so cute.
