i think we are all born with a clean slate. your enviornment determines whether you will do the right or wrong thing.

- Good opinion, but have you ever noticed kids being kinda evil, they make fun of each other, hurt each other, they can be quite evil, as they grow they learn not to do that.

It would depend on if one believes in karma and reincarnation or not. Karma from a past life would bring with it tendencies fro a previous life.When we are born all memory of past lives is washed away.If we have not learned the lessons needed to the path of enlightenment than these traits will linger from life to life until learned until liberation.

well if you go by the bible it says something to the extent of everyone is born into sin. We may be born with a clean slate but we still know nothing of religion or beliefs, I MYSELF believe that if you die as a child you are cast into a mid way place until you can learn of religion.
