I travel for a living and had canceled my direct deposit after a divorce so I may get home after 6-8 weeks away from home to a pile of paychecks and spend it on whatever I want at the moment. I like to eat well so I spend alot of it doing some fine dining.

I'd go and put it in the bank and keep the amount that I was gonna take out anyway probably. Although it would be a bit harder not to spend it if I was walking past shops.
