Don't you think there is something wrong with people who object women breastfeeding in public, even when they cover that area, the baby's head and everything else with a blanket? What's wrong with them?

Well, it's ridiculous, and I think it's terribly rude as well.
The baby needs food, the mom needs to get out of the house.
I was brought up in a culture where it is just a completely natural thing, and very ordinary to see. Living in a place where it was fround upon really gave me a shock, and made my babytime just a bit more difficult and depressing.thank you!

Some people will complain about anything, given the opportunity! Best to just ignore them.

I think there is something wrong with them for sure, but I bet they'd complain a whole lot more if you started attending to the other end of the baby right in front of them!!
Perhaps that's the solution, if they complain, threaten them with a soiled nappy!
If you don't like babies, get up and walk away, you don't have another human and a changing bag to lug about, so you should find it much easier than the poor mother who is just trying to take proper care of her child!

You should NEVER breast feed in public, its not natural, no animal does that.
They ALL breastfeed "privately" in their own way, by staying within their group of animals that they KNOW and they all stick together for protection, those are herd animals but, other more loner animals hide in caves, holes, bushes, under trees,in trees,in the ground, ect, when they birth and breastfeed their babies,i have 3 cats and many dogs, huskys and a pilly, and all my cats always hide under the sofa IN A HOUSE to hide from everyone in it so they can breastfeed,if we find her she moves her babies and hides somewhere else, same with dogs, they want their privacy and even grawl if you keep staring, dogs just can't hide as easy as cats, tho, but she tries her best by going in closets, ect. I also have a farm in Russia and all most of my life i've worked there with family, feeding the animals, ect, and even just sit in the out house porch watching them with friends or something and when they, the animals, have babies even they want privacy but its also harder for them since they're caged, but the horses go all the way to the other side of the cage and so do my sheep, hell even chickens hide there eggs, women, like all female animals are modest by nature, there is never a good reason to breastfeed in public, I'm a biochemist i studied what could possibly be the difference between breastfeeding from th breast or pumping it into a bottle, guess what? there is no difference. The milk has all the same contents. So its perfectly easy to do what my brothers wife does, pump an hour or two before she has to leave the house to have a few bottles as well as have pacifiers, ect, all work perfect for keeping her baby full, healthy and QUIET. :D
and another thing, the world IS wild,no matter what you wanna believe,we're living in the same world as everything else and, humans are very violent, you should never want to be the lady on the news who was shot with her baby, and her baby shot too,or be held up in a store with your baby, ect. I hear of it on the news all the time, your baby can play in your backyard easily, and if the park is in the area and is walking distance then take her when shes old enough to even play there,Women,i understand when you have babies you believe all these crazy things, your hormones are INSANE, so your over emotional, and always bitching, you really think anyone should take you seriously? do what YOUR nature was made to do,keep your baby protected,by never putting her in a potentially dangerous situation, feed her from the bottle in public, because you always claim breastfeeding is SO INTIMATE, if its SO INTIMATE, it needs to be hidden, just like i can't have sex in the middle of the street just suddenly because me and my lover get horny, our sex is intimate and TO GOOD for even strangers eyes, you should not even give random people the benefit of seeing such an intimate thing, you, as mothers, should KNOW it is sacred.

Who cares what they think. The law protects a mother's right to breastfeed her baby anywhere she needs to do so. Anyone has a problem with it can shove it up their rear.

I honestly think that babies should stay at home. Hire a sitter. Maybe I'm anti-baby, but I don't see them as cute or adorable. I see them as an annoyance (especially in movie theaters and other such places in which hearing a crying baby would ruin the experience). I've heard tons of arguments about this crap, but would finding a trustworthy sitter be so hard? Is the decision of quality time with a baby versus a night of not taking care of it that difficult to make every now and then? I'm certain we can all find a middle ground someday, but, for now, leave your kids at home when you go to see a movie.
