Help answer this question below.
canada is not that cold .. and is only so in the winter months . and can get very hot in the summer . i would stay here . today -november 16th 2009 no snow yet ,, t-shirt weather yesterday in ontario. .... we dont all live in igloos and have a dogslead for a family car to navagate through the dark cold tundra that begins right at the US boarder ya know ,lol . ;-)
Neither, both are too extreme for me.
I'll settle for Florida
I can't bear the cold, and I love the heat, so it would be Australia for me.
I could take Canada or Alaska. Besides, there are far too many Australians in Australia for my taste.
the cold of canada as i'm sure there is a really nice hot canadian guy that can warm me up :-)
I'm in Australia ... I love this beautiful country, yet I must say! that I am becoming tired of the extreme summers ... I would like to move to Canada or Alaska for a couple months of a year ... Anyone keen to do a house swap?
:))))
I'll take the latter, as I can't stand the heat.
Australia :) Nice and warm there
With the heatwave some in Australia are currently experiencing, I'd rather try a Canadian winter, snow and all! I do NOT like extreme heat!
I don't like heat, in Ireland if we get a rise of 3 or 4 degress above normal we cannot hack it at all. So it would have to be Canada. Not all of that country is cold as said by another poster.
Canada (especially Lake Louise) and Alaska have beautiful country, to be sure! But the older I get, the less tolerant I am of the cold! So. . . .I'll take Australia!
Rather be in a warm place my self.
I will take Australia :)
Being an Australian, I'd probably pick Australia, because if the heat ever gets too much, there is always Melbourne!
Why do you assume Canada is cold?
Most of Canada has a moderate climate.
I'll take the cold of Alaska.
Id live where ever its hot. If its cold i wont be able to watch girls in bikini's!
I'd definitely take the cold of Canada. I hate heat.
I'll take the cold anytime. You can always put on more clothing but there is only so much that one can decently remove. +3
Given these choices - southern Canada.
I love Canada but I want to get to know Australia before I die.
I love the heat and have little tolerance for the cold, and am very content living in BC. There is some extremely cold temperatures during the winter months in northern Canada, but there seems to be a common misconception most of the country is buried under ice and snow all year round. I have experienced numerous snowless winters and enjoy 30+ heat during the summer months. It is mid November, and I still have flowers blooming in my garden. I will take a hot day anytime, but experience plenty where I am. I would not pass up a January get away down under though!:)
Would you rather live in the heat of Australia or the cold of Canada or Alaska?

I would like to trade my property for another property of greater value. My property is all paid for but the other property carries a note. Can you explain to me how the different equities and different values in the properties are handled in a trade?

Just one day of your cold winters would knock me dead. Even English winters are too cold for me.

Visited Canada once and it was very hot - Ontario in August - that suited me fine. :-D On the hottest day of the trip I visited Niagara and went on the Maid of the Mist. That was a great way to cool down. What an amazing place.
